From 2022, French cosmetics legislation will require brands marketing mineral sunscreen products to include NANO labelling on their ingredient lists for titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, under the precautionary principle.Â
The filters used by Patyka have been tested by a third party. The zinc oxide and titanium dioxide used by Patyka in its products remained on the skin surface and did not penetrate the skin. The products were also ecotoxicity tested, which showed that Patyka's sun products are also safe for marine corals/plants and fish.
